What to expect
Your MOT checks that your vehicle meets the minimum legal safety and environmental standards. It does not cover the mechanical condition of the engine or gearbox, but it does cover brakes, lights, steering, tyres, emissions, and more. We carry out the test, give you the result, and if there are any failures we will explain clearly what needs doing and how much it will cost before we touch anything.
Can we repair MOT failures?
Yes. If your vehicle fails, we can carry out the repair work on site and retest it. No trailing between garages and no wasted time.
When do you need an MOT?
Most vehicles need an MOT every year once they are three years old. You can book up to a month before your current certificate expires without losing any time on the new one. If you are unsure of your due date, check the DVLA website or give us a call.
